About iamcasino

iamcasino is an independent review site where Malaysian players rate online casinos on what matters here: whether withdrawals arrive, whether support answers, and whether bonus terms mean what they say.

Advertising on iamcasino

This site carries display advertising. Every advertisement is marked “Advertisement” in plain text, names its sponsor, sits in a reserved slot that looks nothing like a casino listing, and links out with rel="sponsored" so it is never counted as an editorial recommendation.

Advertising space is sold separately from everything else on this site. Buying it does not affect a TrustScore, a rank, a badge, a review, or which casinos are listed — and there is no advertising at all on an individual casino profile, because an ad on the page that judges an operator would undermine the point of the page. An advertiser is not necessarily reviewed here, and being reviewed here is not affected by whether an operator advertises.

Our mission

Information about Malaysia-facing casinos is scattered across Telegram groups, forum threads and marketing pages written by the casinos themselves. We built iamcasino to put sourced operator profiles and genuine player reviews in one place, with commercial relationships and editorial ordering visible.

The model is deliberately familiar: a public profile for each casino, a TrustScore computed from player reviews, filters for the things Malaysian players compare (payment methods, payout speed, language, support channels), and a moderation queue run by humans. Reviews are in Malaysian English, and the site is designed for phones first because that is where our readers are.

Independence: paid placement is labelled, bonuses never affect ranking

No casino can pay to rank higher in our independently scored lists, to remove a review, to change a score, or to have a Verified badge applied. There is no affiliate tracking anywhere in our editorial pages — every link to a reviewed casino carries rel="nofollow" and no referral parameters — and we do not run a bonus comparison page or a "biggest bonus" sort, because those exist to funnel deposits rather than inform.

Featured partners carry a visible label in a separate band. This placement does not enter TrustScore or the facts score. Before player reviews accumulate, the numbered list also uses a disclosed editorial opening order: the owner chose commercial partners TTBet and BCB88 for positions one and two. That order is not a player rating or a claim that we tested either casino.

Where a profile carries an editorial review written by our staff, that review was written from the operator's public pages on the date it shows, never from play-testing, and every fact in it is the operator's stated claim or a stored fact. It is not a player review: it does not enter the TrustScore, the facts score or the independently scored list. A partner's editorial review says it is a partner in its first lines; a non-partner's says there is no commercial relationship.

The separate editorial-picks page expands the same subjective opening order. Positions after TTBet and BCB88 reflect how useful the brands' published Malaysian payment, support and terms information appears to us; none reflects tested withdrawal performance. Once genuine player reviews meet the displayed threshold, review-backed profiles lead by TrustScore.

TrustScore is built only from published player reviews, weighted toward recent experiences and shrunk toward a neutral prior while a casino has few reviews. Bonus size, minimum deposit, payout speed, licence status and the Verified badge are shown for comparison and never enter the score or the ranking. The full method, with live constants and worked examples rendered from the same code that scores casinos, is on our How we rate page.

This site carries advertising, and every advertisement is labelled as one. Advertising does not change a TrustScore, facts score, player review, badge, or which casinos are listed. The owner-selected editorial opening order is disclosed independently of those scores.

Ads appear only in fixed, marked slots — never on an individual casino profile, and never styled to resemble a casino listing. Each one names its sponsor and links out with rel="sponsored", so it is never counted as an editorial recommendation. An advertiser is not necessarily reviewed here, and being reviewed here is not affected by whether an operator advertises.

One thing we would rather state than bury: a paid banner sends you to the advertiser's own landing page, and that destination is theirs, so it may carry their tracking or referral code. That is what makes it advertising rather than editorial, which is exactly why every ad is labelled. Our own pages, scores and rankings remain free of any such link.

How moderation works

Every review passes an automated screen before publication. The screen checks for links and promo codes, banned terms, duplicate bodies from the same account, brand-new accounts, and first reviews from an account with no published history. Anything it flags is held for a human moderator; nothing it flags is silently deleted. A held review is visible to its author with a "pending" label and the reason.

Readers can report a review. Reports never hide a review automatically — they queue it for a moderator, and only reports from logged-in accounts count toward the queue, so a report campaign cannot remove a review. Moderators can approve, reject with a note visible to the author, unpublish, or mark a review Verified after checking a proof note. Every moderator action is written to an audit log in the same transaction as the action itself.

  • One review per player per casino; edits replace the original and are re-screened.
  • Casino operators may reply to reviews on claimed profiles; replies are labelled "Posted via iamcasino" so the site never fabricates an unattributed operator statement.
  • Verified is a badge, not a weight. It means staff checked a proof note; it does not change the score.

What we are, and what we are not

iamcasino is an information service. We do not operate a casino, take bets, hold player funds, process payments, or act as an agent for any operator. We are not a regulator and cannot compel any casino to pay a withdrawal or honour a bonus. If a casino owes you money, the reviews here can tell you whether others had the same experience; they cannot get it back.

We are also not a legal adviser. Malaysia has no licensing regime for online casinos, and the legality of playing on offshore sites from Malaysia is your responsibility to understand. Nothing on this site is encouragement to gamble. Every page carries an 18+ notice, and our responsible gambling page lists free, confidential help.

Licences: what our wording means

Each casino profile shows the licence the operator claims and the date we last checked that claim against the regulator's public register or the operator's licence page. We write "checked on 12 Mar 2026". We never write "verified by the regulator", because we cannot verify anything on a regulator's behalf and a licence valid when we looked may have lapsed since. Where we could not confirm a licence, the profile says "Unverified" and treats that as an absence of evidence rather than an accusation.

All licences shown are offshore — Curaçao, Anjouan, Malta, Isle of Man, Kahnawake, Gibraltar. None is Malaysian, because no Malaysian licence exists for online casinos. Two claims you will still see on operator sites are shown here as unverified: PAGCOR stopped licensing offshore operators at the end of 2024 and has said sites claiming it are not authorised by it, and the old Gaming Curaçao master-licence numbers (365/JAZ and similar) lapsed in early 2025, so a Curaçao claim without a current Curaçao Gaming Authority number is a historical reference, not a licence. Our guide on what an offshore licence means explains what each regulator does and does not do for a player sitting in Malaysia.
